1 Research Associate (m/f/d)
(Salary level E 13 TV-L, 75 %)

The qualification goal of the project involves general training in interdisciplinary science as well as methodological training in dynamical systems modelling.

Description of Responsibilities:

The role encompasses active involvement in scientific research situated at the convergence of neuroscience and collective behaviour, with an emphasis on dynamical systems modelling. The selected candidate will be entrusted with a computational model used to simulate the effects of heterogeneity in cognitive traits. The objective is to apply this model to simulate heterogeneity of cognitive flexibility and stability in collective task switching; and to test simulation predictions experimentally using online behavioural experiments. Furthermore, the objective is to apply the model to other prominent research areas at the University of Osnabrück, such as the modelling of opinion formation among individuals.
